One project that I am especially proud of is the
joint venture with Pelusios.com and is where
you will find much more comprehensive
information on both Pelomedusa & Pelusios
species.

I have a special affinity for the genus Cuora and
its prior inclusion of Cistoclemmys, as these
were the turtles that started it all. In the early
90s very little information had been published
pertaining to these species; it was through the
literature searches that my interest in turtles
took hold.

Over the years I have had the privilege to work
with many different species each providing its
own unique challenges and rewards. This
section will expand as time permits as my
research interests do at times distract me from
writing more on the single specimen species in
