The North American Pelusios &
Pelomedusa Studbook and Record
(NAPPSR) is off to a good start with
seven species and subspecies
represented. I'm optimistic that 2010
will be strong year for NAPPSR with
greater collaboration between
Pelusios and Pelomedusa keepers in
here North America. If you are
breeding Pelusios and/or Pelomedusa
please consider joining.

This site continues to serve as a
resource on the captive requirements
of African helmeted turtles,
Pelomedusa subrufa, including
information on the housing, feeding,
and breeding.

I strongly encourage any keeper of
